To wrap up the 2013-2014 school year, the Daily Bruin photo staff compiled a gallery of photos that tell this year’s UCLA story.

In between two of UCLA’s largest annual concerts – Spring Sing and the JazzReggae Festival – British rock band Coldplay set upon Royce Hall Monday night to celebrate the international release of its sixth studio album “Ghost Stories.”
Packing Royce Hall to its full capacity, the concert was Coldplay’s only West Coast appearance during the band’s mini world tour, which began in Cologne, Germany, on April 25 and will conclude with a London show on July 1.

Daily Bruin’s Aalhad Patankar and Agnijita Kumar ventured into the costumed masses and mobs of Dance Marathon to find the answer to one, basic question: Who’s got the funkiest, freshest moves in there?

UCLA men’s basketball got off to a hot start against Colorado Thursday night, but quickly cooled off, trailing 40-36 at halftime. But the Bruins shot out of the gate in the second half behind four three pointers by freshman guard Bryce Alford to take the lead and eventually win 92-74.

Leading by 18 with just over 15 minutes to play, UCLA basketball had Cal on the ropes Sunday night, with sole possession of second place in the Pac-12 just about wrapped up.
