The UCLA Police Department has the smallest stock of lethal weapons in the UC, but the largest stock of less-than-lethal munitions, according to data obtained from the university.

For the cohort of fall 2024, UCLA received 173,651 applications, comprising 146,276 first-year applications and 27,177 transfer applications – the most of any university in the nation.
