Dear incoming Bruins, welcome to the Daily Bruin’s 2024 Orientation Issue. As the student newspaper on the UCLA campus, The Bruin is thrilled to give new students a look into the vibrant UCLA community.

The 79th annual Spring Sing has fluttered onto the screen, and talent on campus is in full bloom. Originally slated for the Los Angeles Tennis Center on May 17, the event transitioned to a digital format in the wake of safety concerns following pro-Palestine demonstrations on campus.
