UCLA students joined hundreds of thousands of people in the Los Angeles Women’s March Saturday in support of rights for women and minorities. The Los Angeles march was held in solidarity with the main Women’s March on Washington, D.C.
Pauley Pavilion came alive Saturday evening with 17 Spring Sings acts ranging from soloists to duets, a cappella ensembles to dance troupes. Third-year sociology student and folk singer Laura Savage won the Northern California Alumni Grand Sweepstakes Award for Best Performance on the Pauley Pavilion stage.
