The former President of Armenia urged audiences not to overlook small nations, especially those leveraging their strategic leadership and innovation May 28.
Armen Sarkissian, a physicist who served as Armenia’s president from 2018 to 2022, was the guest speaker for the UCLA Burkle Center for International Relations’ annual Bernard Brodie Distinguished Lecture on the Conditions of Peace.

Two people were arrested during a demonstration held Thursday by pro-Palestine organizations at UCLA in remembrance of the 1948 Nakba.
