In a Tuesday press conference at the opening of the Disaster Recovery Center at UCLA’s Research Park, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass said the Los Angeles County wildfires are still an ongoing emergency and residents should not wait until an evacuation order is declared to evacuate.
International students living in the University Cooperative Housing Association co-op considered evacuation plans after the onset of fires across Los Angeles County.
