The Situations is a five-member ensemble with pop boy band and indie rock influences that formed in October. Before starting The Situations, Chet Breister, Ryan Estes, James Harris, Matty Gottesman and Max Wright overlapped in several bands throughout their time at UCLA.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor dazzled the dance floor with shimmering sequins Monday night. The British disco pop-star played at The Regent Theater for the first North American show of her tour promoting her new album “Perimenopop.” Ellis-Bextor gave a heartfelt performance – twirling across the stage, cracking jokes and encouraging audience participation.
