Spring is here and week 1 has come to an end. There were many memorable events this week, from woman’s basketball elimination from the NCAA Tournament to a vigil honoring the attacks in Lahore.
No. 3 seed UCLA women’s basketball met its match in the third round of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament, losing to No. 2 seed Texas. The Bruins, who were NIT champions in 2015, made a lengthy tournament run with a young roster, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Longhorns in a 72-64 loss.
The winter quarter was full of interesting people and exciting moments across UCLA and the greater Los Angeles area. Luckily our photographers were there to capture it all.
