Weaver, a first-year biology student, is among the thousands of undergraduate students wrapping up their first year of eating UCLA dining options – from food trucks like BittieBitez Mini-Donuts to the more traditional Bruin Plate breakfasts.

An esports lounge will replace the Bruin Fun Zone in Ackerman Union.
The Bruin Fun Zone – located on the A-level of Ackerman Union – was introduced in 2022 as a recreational space that housed arcade machines, table tennis, foosball, Jenga and board games.
