No. 2 seed UCLA softball (52-5, 21-3 Pac-12) will commence its run at a 13th national title Friday in its opening game of the NCAA regionals against Grand Canyon (46-11, 17-7 WAC), with Liberty (38-20, 19-5 ASUN) and San Diego State (35-15, 16-6 Mountain West) also comprising the Los Angeles Regional.
No. 1 seed UCLA softball (50-4, 21-3 Pac-12) will open its postseason against either No. 8 seed Arizona (28-24, 6-18) or No. 9 seed Arizona State (22-25, 6-18) in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 tournament Thursday at 4 p.m.

The regular season has concluded for No. 2 UCLA softball (50-4, 21-3 Pac-12), and it was a triumphant one.
After 13 straight wins, the Bruins will head home for their final Pac-12 home series of the season.
No. 2 UCLA softball (40-4, 15-3 Pac-12) will host Arizona State (27-17, 5-10) Friday through Sunday for the first time since its May 6-8 series a season ago, where the Bruins lost two out of three to the Sun Devils in Tempe.
Led by strong performances all over the field, the Bruins prevailed with their second run-rule victory in as many midweek games.
No. 2 UCLA softball (40-4, 15-3 Pac-12) defeated Long Beach State (21-19, 11-4 Big West) on Wednesday at the LBSU Softball Complex by a score of 10-0 after only five innings.
For the first time in program history, the Bruins are scheduled to face off against an HBCU.
No. 2 UCLA softball (22-1) will take on Howard (4-12) on HBCU night at Easton Stadium, with first pitch slated for 6 p.m.
