Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna said at a 5 p.m. press conference that his department has already arrested three people for looting.
“We have additional people that we’ve brought in just to make sure that people’s property are left alone,” he said.

Los Angeles County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone said at the press conference that the Palisades fire has now been mapped to 10,600 acres, is still growing and is at 0% containment.

Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley also said at the press conference that the LAFD has responded to 3,950 emergency service calls throughout the city, which included 10 structure fires.

In a 5 p.m. press conference, Los Angeles 3rd District Representative Lindsey Horvath said that gas shutoffs are now affecting more than 15,000 people in Malibu, from Brentwood Country Club to Pepperdine, and that a boil water advisory is now in affect for the LA County Water Works District 29, which is the Sunset Mesa area.
