The Bruins returned to Pauley Pavilion for their first home meet of the 2023 season. After a score inquiry, UCLA and Oregon State tied with a score of 197.275.

After facing a 17-point deficit in the second quarter, UCLA football recovered and beat Bowling Green 45-17 to begin the season.
