Student and faculty groups hosted a virtual post-election healing event Thursday to give students a place to discuss and digest the 2020 election.

The beginning of fall quarter typically rings in a season of welcome events after what can be a grueling period of club recruitment. But, with this year’s social distancing restrictions and remote learning, UCLA club leaders have been searching for other ways to keep new and existing members engaged.

This past spring quarter demanded massive and sudden adjustments to the learning environment, but somehow we got through it.
Now, with one full quarter and some summer classes under our belts, professors are hoping to introduce a refined online classroom experience for fall quarter to accommodate new and old student struggles.

To say that the spring quarter of 2020 looked different from the ones before it would be an understatement at best. Now, in light of the recent cancellation of standard housing plans and the announcement that most fall quarter classes will be online-only, it looks like many Bruins will be mourning yet another quarter away from UCLA.
