After months of anticipation, the time for UCLA club badminton’s first meet of the 2022-2023 season had finally come – but their plan soon hit a fatal snag.

First, water started leaking from her kitchen ceiling. Then the coughing began. 
Jaclyn Schwartz moved into Westwood Chateau, a UCLA-owned apartment, in September. The fourth-year biology student said she was excited to live near campus, but before the quarter was even halfway through, problems arose.

In a campus as large and expansive as UCLA, there are a wide variety of clubs and organizations available to support students through their career journeys, including consulting, engineering and pre-law societies.
